We need support so that we can continue to develop and deliver unique and inspiring creative opportunities for those who have the least access to the arts across the High Peak.  Your donation will go directly to High Peak Community Arts, and would mean so much to our participants, staff and volunteers.

High Peak Community Arts provides opportunities for people to participate in high quality creative arts projects.  We focus on those with the least access to the arts and culture and we believe that the arts can be a tool for change in people’s lives.

We work to break down the barriers to participation in the arts, including geographic location, lack of resources, disability or other personal or social circumstances.  Our programmes provide first and onward opportunities for participants of all ages, interests and abilities, to experiment with the creative arts – including film, digital arts, crafts, performance and visual arts; and to create work that reflects and celebrates life.

We use the Arts as a tool for change in people’s lives and enable self-empowerment through high quality creative arts projects. Our three main strands are Youth Arts, Arts & Health and Children and Families across the High Peak. High Peak Community Arts exists to create opportunities for people to participate in creative arts and develop their quality of life through self expression, focussing on people who have least access to the arts. We work with agencies, special needs groups, schools, community organisations and individuals to generate participatory arts projects across the High Peak.
