Fundraiser - Sasha v Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa)

Story

In a few weeks' time (date TBC as weather dependent) I will be taking on the great heights of Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon).

My teenage brother, Josh, has Down Syndrome and is currently on a waiting list to access a Dynamic service and I know how beneficial this support will be for his independence, social skills and development. I also work in a local specialist school and see first-hand the good work that is done by Dynamic, supporting so many children and their families.

Any donations you can make to support their efforts would be gratefully received. Every penny raised will be put to good use this year and help them to continue delivering services to local children and young people with disabilities. Thank you so much everyone!

Dynamic Wrexham

We are based in Wrexham, North Wales, providing services for children and young people with disabilities and their families. These include:

After-school/weekend activity sessions which provide social opportunities as well as help build independence skills; supporting young people to access community activities of their choice with a view to attending independently in the future, enabling young people to have their voice heard about the issues that matter to them, as well as helping to build resilience in those that need it most because of emotional, social or behavioural difficulties. We also have a signing choir who enjoy performing locally.

We also provide support to parents/carers with regular parent support groups, well-being sessions, and regular family events.

Whilst we receive funding to deliver some of these services, this does not cover all that we offer and we rely heavily on the generosity of others to match fund. Any support you can offer is greatly appreciated. Thank you so much!
