About

World Gin Day 2022 is just round the corner on Saturday 11th June...  Once again Ormiston Parent Council are bringing you all sorts of Gin, Drink and Leisure related prizes for another bumper raffle...  This year we are looking to support Ormiston Primary School with the much anticipated redevelopment of the playground area.  If this means you have to make the sacrifice of winning a bottle of Gin or a night out in Edinburgh then it is surely a price worth paying to support the school and the children!!!

Ormiston Primary School Parent Council

Our Parent Council is made up of a group of parents and other community members who regularly meet with the Headteacher and staff of the school to discuss how to improve the school for our children. The role of the Parent Council is to represent the views of parents & carers to the school, local authority, and education authority. We also organise fundraising events which helps to buy items for the school that can be used by every child.

This classic Scottish Gin is elevated by the cold-distillation of Buddhas' Hand Citron.  It is juniper led with a bright citrus profile, perfect for a lighter drink.  Porters Gin was created in a bar, not a boardroom, where the creative bartenders in the basement of a cocktail bar consulted with the scientists from Aberdeen University to bring their concepts into reality.

Stockholms Branneri Dry Gin 40% (50cl)

Handcrafted on Södermalm in Stockholm. Stockholms Branneri Dry gin is a Nordic take on a traditional dry gin that has got its characteristics from 7 organic botanicals - juniper berries, coriander seeds, angelica root, lemon peel, heather, elderflower and rosemary. The blend gives the gin a delicate flowery taste parallel to the classic juniper and citrus notes. This makes it perfect for the classic gin cocktails, but also ideal to purely enjoy neat or in a Dry Martini.

Stockholms Branneri Pink Gin 40% (50cl)

Inspired by pink summer skies and infused with rose petals and rhubarb, this Gin is floral but still dry.  Foraged lingonberries are steeped in the Gin post distillation giving it its subtle colour and some fruitiness.  This is the taste of the Swedish summer and made for enjoying through the summer nights.
