Grappenhall Conservation Area - Safe Access for All

With a bit of help NOW from Grappenhall people we can all enjoy 

- 18 off street parking spaces behind St Wilfrid's Church and cycle park

- Pedestrian footpath linking Church Lane, St Wilfrid's church to carpark, Scout hut/Campsite - car free, step free, puddle free 

- Quiet courtyard - to rest and watch the wildlife in the Churchyard by the new annexe

St Wilfrid's Church owns the land on which the access road, carpark and pedestrian footpath is to be built.  Let's work as a community to raise the funds (over £100,000) to open up access for all, especially people with baby buggies, or walking aids.  St Wilfrid's Church is open to all, we have paid for the permissions to do the work, we have applied for grants and many people in the congregation have dug deep to fund our new annexe. 

This raffle will be used to fund these access improvements which can benefit so many Grappenhall people - Busy parents on School Run looking for parking, Scouts and their families, Visitors to St Wilfrid's, the churchyard, the new annexe, Parish Centre, both pubs, Bridgewater Canal and people enjoying a peaceful walk in Grappenhall Conservation Area.

From the 24th June 2021 at 09:00 AM, until the 24th July 2021 at 12:00 PM.

£300 in cash, thank you to our generous sponsor, Skyline Property and Construction Services Limited.  The winner will be contacted and asked how they would like to receive the money, probably into their Bank Account.  This could be your chance to win 6 crisp new £50 notes!
