CHRISTMAS RAFFLE 2022

Our Christmas raffle this year is to support St Mary's Primary School Southam with their Reading Improvement Plan for this year.

Money raised will go towards a much needed update of reading books for older children and more phonics resources for the younger children. We are also hoping to raise enough money to fund reading tablets for the children to use in class, this will enable them to access 1000s of up to date reading materials online.

Friends of St Mary’s Southam

Friends of St Mary’s are an integral part of the school and our purpose is to raise much needed funds to support our school and benefit our children. We organise events & activities throughout the school year e.g Disco’s, cake sales and Christmas fairs. We also organise events for the local community such as our popular Christmas Wreath making workshop and support local community events such as Southam carnival and Christmas light switch on. By creating events to raise money, we also contribute to the school community by providing children, parents, carers & teachers the opportunity to get to know each other & have fun! What are the funds we raise used for? The money raised is used to provide things that our children may not otherwise have at school & to support those things we need ‘extra’ funding for that isn't included in the schools main income.
