On 15th October, I’ll be running the Bath Half Marathon in memory of my amazing Grandad, Kelvin Davis.
Grandad made the biggest and best impact on everyone who knew him. With his cheeky smile and rubbish jokes, he never failed to make your day better. He always showed endless support to the whole family and never put himself first. He was truly one in a million and if I can be half the grandad he was in the future then I’ll be very lucky.
I remember him cheering me on as I ran my first local 10k race six years ago, and celebrating down the phone with me after I crossed the Bath Half finish line last year. This year I know he’ll be doing the same. This one’s for you mush!
I’ll be raising money for the Royal United Hospital (RUH)’s cancer services. The work they do is fantastic and any donations made will help boost their care for patients in Bath. It would be great to give back to the city I called home for the last four years.
Any donations would be greatly appreciated, thank you for all the support :)
