Team Hummingbird cyclists have entered this year's Extra Mile Challenge - The Ardennes Challenge which takes place 21st-25th September
Our team of 4 (Anthony Priestnall, Kevin Perryman, David Kita, Paul Harris) will cycle 500 miles in 3 days in Northern France & Belgium. Scenic routes await us as we ride start in Valenciennes on day 1, riding through forests & alongside the Canal Sambre a L'Oise towards the Laon area. We travel east on day 2, through the Parc Naturel Regional L'Avesnois. On the final day we head towards the hills of Spa Francorchamps. It promises to be a great challenge and as in previous years we will be raising money for the Extra Mile charities and our main charity, The Hummingbird Centre.

The Hummingbird Centre supports families affected by cancer and is run mostly by volunteers who provide a range of support services including counselling, arts & crafts , holistic treatments and cancer education. Awarded The Queens Award for Voluntary Services in 2018, it has grown to be an integral part of the local Bicester community and provides a valuable service to many families at their time of need.
