Story

Virtual triathlon from Sunderland Samba UK office to Sunderland Samba Kenya Office. We are aiming to cover the 10,182 km during the month of February by a combination of walking, running or cycling. We will need your help to achieve this!!! Anyone can join us on this journey. This is about us encouraging positive fitness and wellbeing whilst hopefully raising some funds along the way to support our Womenâ€™s Team in Kenya as they play in FKF League Division 1 and support various communities around Kenya to support women not just in football but in life and society. We are a community football club with the following aims. To bring different people together to learn and understand each other, give people the opportunity to play as part of a team especially to those who might not otherwise do so, and encourage reflection on life and spiritual issues through sharing experience and understanding. We run an 11-a-side team, youth holiday scheme, young volunteers programme, support for refugees and asylum seekers and our sister project in Kenya for young women.
