Fundraiser - Monxton and Amport Village Hall

Story

In March 2025 we opened the doors to a fabulous new village hall. A warm, energy-efficient, beautiful building fitted with a modern, well-equipped kitchen with an attractive bar, the hall also benefits from a projector, an 8-speaker blue-tooth PA system and fast 500mbps WiFi.

An external noticeboard will be the next addition, enabling us to advertise local classes and events and directing passers-by to the hall booking system. Following this our goal is to raise sufficient funds to install much-needed storage for tables, chairs and other equipment as well as measures to improve acoustics in the hall. Every donation, however small or large, helps so THANK YOU for your contribution.

Following a successful build and fit-out, we are down to the final essentials! In order to offer a safe and attractive space for users of the hall we need to install secure storage for tables, chairs, other equipment and cleaning materials, etc. We would also like to improve the acoustics by installing some sound-absorbing measures. To this end, monies left over from all hall-run events (once costs are covered) will go towards these essential improvements. THANK YOU for helping us get there!
