Fundraiser - LOCH NESS MARATHON FOR CONNECTING CARERS

Story

I am running the Loch Ness marathon on 29th September.

26.2 miles.

I will be raising money for Young Carers in Lochaber through Connecting Carers. A Highland wide charity who support unpaid carers.

Sophie has worked for this charity the last 2.5 years and I see 1st hand the positive impact that respite breaks and social groups have on these kids !

At Connecting Carers we work with unpaid carers every day and have learned a great deal from them. We use this knowledge, and our position as the Highland Carer Centre, to ensure that unpaid carers in Highland are not caring alone, that they are acknowledged and supported and that they have access to the information they need to enable them to carry out their caring role.
