Story

Hi, my name is Jessica. I am 15 years old and regularly attend Young Life Club. At club, I meet up with friends and it is always a great opportunity to socialise and forget the stresses of school. This summer, I am hoping to go to Cairn Brae in Scotland for a Christian Week Away. I will be taking part in the ride for a reason, to raise money for this trip, will you sponsor me?

In Welwyn Garden City and Hatfield, Young Life Club is frequently the highlight of the week for the people that attend. Its a great chance to have fun with friends and leaders, while developing your christian faith. In the summer, there are opportunities for us to spend a week at Young Life Camp in Scotland, with others from all other the UK.

Young Life International, an expression of Young Life, an international corporation founded in the USA in 1941 and present in over 100 countries around the world, is a distinctive outreach to young people who are not involved in the church and who know little of Jesus Christ. For 11 to 14 year olds we are appropriately called WyldLife. For 15 to 18 year olds we are called Young Life and for teenage mums we are called YoungLives.. We believe every young person deserves the right to hear about Jesus in language they understand from an adult who knows and loves them. Over one million teenagers a year world-wide are involved in either WyldLife, Young Life or YoungLives.
