Members of the Isle of Man Fire & Rescue Service are this month taking part in Movember, where they will grow a mo (moustache) for a bro over the course of the month in order to raise both awareness and funds for men's health and well-being.

The guys have decided to raise money for two worthy causes; Isle Listen and The Fire Fighters Charity.  Both causes are frequently used by members of the IOMFRS (past and present) and provide invaluable help to serving members of the Emergency Services and their extended families.

The Fire Fighters Charity provides help and support across a wide range of services, which include physical health, mental health and social well-being.

Isle Listen is an early intervention positive mental health initiative, which aims to highlight the importance of mental health and its equal importance to physical health. Isle Listen provides a range of vital mental health services and training in schools, the workplace and the wider community.

A 'mo' is much more than hair on your face.  It's a conversation starter about men's health.  Please help support the guys by checking in with your fellow bro's!  And if you are able to make a donation to two very worthy causes, that would be most appreciated!

Which we do completely free of charge. We also work with organisations on the Island, offering a range of wellbeing solutions including mental health training, and a counselling service employee benefit.
