This year HSS Sewa teams from the Slough and Maidenhead Branches of Hindu Swayamsevak Sangh UK (HSS UK) are organising a walkathon and various other activities to raise funds for Slough Outreach. Further information on HSS UK at: https://hssuk.org/
Sewa is a Sanskrit term meaning 'selfless service to humanity and nature'.
Inspired by this term, HSS Sewa is fundraising for small to medium sized charities close to our neighbourhoods, and occasionally supporting major disaster appeals. These charities do amazing work, but most do not often get national attention.
As part of our drive to support community based charitable causes, each of our regions in over 65 towns and cities, aims to support at least one charity. In past three years Slough and Maidenhead HSS Sewa team has raised funds for The Samaritans, Thames Valley Adventure Playground and The Baby Bank.
Our volunteers of young children supported by parents and well-wishers will walk 6KM and do other activities to enlist your moral and financial support.
Please support generously!
Thank you.
