Space 2 Be Member, Karen, has spent the past few years growing her collection of Halloween decorations on the outside of her house. What started off as a little pumpkin display to provide joy to her children and the local neighbourhood during the tough times of lockdown - has evolved into a Halloween House attraction for the wider community! For the last two years, Karen and her family decided to make the most of the growing interest in their Halloween House and use it as an opportunity to fundraise for local charity, Space 2 Be Me, which provides vital support to children and young people with additional needs and their families across West Kent.
We are delighted that she has chosen to collect funds for Space 2 Be Me again in 2025! This year hoping to smash the £600 raised and donated last year.
With old favourites and new displays, there is lots to see to put a smile on the faces of anyone who visits! The outside of the house has become something of a star attraction, with cars stopping as they drive by to come and have a closer look, and even queues forming to see all the spooky Halloween sights!
Karen says, “Space 2 Be Me has given so much to my son over the years, that I want to give something back. And it brings me joy to see children enjoying our Halloween-decorated House!”
You can visit the Halloween House on Thursday 31st October between 4.00pm to 8.00 pm. All the decorations and activities are taking place outside their house. They live on Hunt Road, Tonbridge, TN10 4BE – look out for their spooky house, you won’t miss it!
There will be donations pots for cash donations, and QR codes to donate online.
