Gear up for an unforgettable day of outdoor adventure at the Goring and Streatley Hairy Legs Cross Country Challenge! We're thrilled to welcome back familiar faces and extend a warm invitation to newcomers to Sheepcot Recreation Ground in Goring-on-Thames. Join us as we celebrate the spirit of running and community amidst the stunning scenery of Goring and Streatley.

Date: Sunday May 12th 2024

Little Legs:
A fun run aimed at children who are at Infant and Primary schools. Little Legs is held on Sheepcot field and is very popular with all boys and girls.
The course is a loop around Sheepcot Field with some obstacles thrown in for good measure.

Teenage Kicks:
An event aimed at Teenagers who are at Secondary School or College. Teenage Kicks is a very popular event as the competitors will run with the adults at the same time over the same course.

This year we’re hoping to raise an extra £500 for the local Primary Schools in Goring and Streatley. Children and teenagers who enter have been given an optional sponsorship form that links

Hairy Legs race Sunday May 12th

Friends of Streatley School was founded as a charity in 2003. Its purpose is to provide financial and human resource support to the school. Our charitable objectives are to advance the education of pupils in the school in particular by (1) developing effective relationships between staff, parents and others associated with the school and (2) engaging in activities or providing facilities or equipment which support the school and advance the education of the pupils.
