Story

We have on average 50 -80 Hedgehogs in at any one time, throughout the year, including winter months. 

Each Hedgehog can cost £10 per month to feed. That's a minimum of a whopping £500 per month, £6000 per year !!

Here your donation will make a huge difference and assist our huge food bills.

We can often buy the food in bulk and get a discount, which means each of your donations can buy more than if you were to purchase and post to us.

Lucky Hedgehog Rescue rescues, rears, and rehabilitates wild British Hedgehogs. We are available 24/7, 7 days a week,  to receive the injured, sick or orphaned and to educate the public in awareness and what to do if they find a Hedgehog in distress. We are also an equal opportunities non profit company offering Volunteering, work experience and Duke of Edinburgh positions. 

Donations are needed all year around with the constant expansion of the rescue as many more Hedgehogs are being admitted than ever before, for medical bills, food bills, equipment and the building of new hospital sheds and the hidden costs of day to day expenses. All donations are gratefully received and we thank you in advance as without you the rescue cannot function.
