Story

April 2024, Our beautiful boy Albie decided to enter the world and take us all by surprise at 24 weeks gestation. He battled long and hard for 3 weeks in necu before falling very ill and passing away from a condition known as NEC.

We as a family found this the most harrowing experience of our lives. We found ourselves trying to carry on normal for our other two children aswell as grieving for our prince. We faced financial difficulties as my fiancé, Anne-marie was unable to return to work as a nursery assistant.

We wanted to find a way to give Albie one final gift of a memorial where we as a family could visit and sit with him. With christmas fast approaching. we was recommended by family liaison at the hospital, to contact Tylers Friends charity.



Without the help of the charity, our boy wouldnt have his memorial, we as a family wouldn't have this beautiful place to visit. Now is our time to give back to the charity to help other family's in need and to say a special thanks to the charity itself.

On Saturday 14th June I will be climbing the roof of the 02 London to raise vital funds for Tyler's Friends. Please dig deep and help as show our appreciation as a family.

Tyler's Friends offer financial support to families who are arranging the funeral of a precious child who grew their angel wings too soon. We provide support and financial assistance to families who have lost a child from pregnancy to the age of 18 years. Tyler's Friends enable the families to have the funeral of their wishes and also strive to achieve a better working practice between families, Funeral Directors and Medical Professionals.
