The children of Burrough Green CofE Primary School are on a mission to get active!
In the week starting 7th June we will be walking, running, skipping and scampering the full length of mainland Britain, from Land's End to John O'Groats, an amazing 874 miles. Not a bad effort for just 110 kids at our small village primary school... Yes, that's an average of about 8 miles each over the week!
Since it would be kinda impractical to hike the real route, we'll be walking around our school grounds, with each child's distance contributing to a huge Burrough Green team effort.
The money raised will go to support our little learners in all sorts of ways - from classroom to sports field, from maths to music. We are very grateful for all your contributions - whether you sponsor us 10p a mile (£87.40), 1p a mile (£8.74) or something else, thank you so much!
