Alex was Jack’s best friend from nursery, through Primary school until Alex’s untimely death in 2011. He died from non-Hodgkins lymphoma and, currently, the only research into this disease in children is that undertaken at Cambridge University, funded by the Alex Hulme Foundation. The Hulme’s continue to tirelessly raise funding for research through their website and run events so that Alex’s legacy will also continue to raise awareness into NHL.
We understand the last couple of years and have been difficult and that times are still tough for many of us, however, anything you could spare for this fantastic cause we would be so grateful for, even if it’s only a couple of quid, especially as we would benefit from Pound Matching for monies raised.

This will be our first fund raising event since the pandemic and all three of us will be running the Altrincham 10k in September in memory of Alex. Please help in any way you can as no amount, however small, is wasted as all monies raised go straight to funding this research.
