Sponsor Julia, Helen, Michal and Simon... instead of cooking up a storm on Sunday the 5th of March they will be running the Cambridge Half Marathon for local Social Enterprise Turtle Dove Cambridge!
"Turtle Dove Cambridge is a Community Interest Company which exists to provide supported work experience for young women aged 14-24 who are or are at risk of not being in education, employment or training. They are an events company who provide opportunities alongside the hospitality industry. They support young women who lack the confidence to gain training and employment due to negative life experiences."
They are also looking forward to hosting their Alternative Education Programme with Cambscuisine!
Cambscuisine want to raise £1,000 for Turtle Dove Cambridge, this will cover a Youth Worker to work at 10 events this year.
Youth support is a vital part of the work Turtle Dove Cambridge do, enabling in-house expertise and experience needed to support young women whilst also offering customers in Cambridge a team to support their events.
