Evacuated from Manchester in 1944 a group of school children arrive in a Yorkshire village. Here they come across a young soldier who, like them, is far away from home. The sequel to the 1970 classic we all grew up with and sees the welcome return of Jenny Agutter along with Tom Courtenay and Sheridan Smith
