Gransden Muddy Fun Run 2026 Sunday 25 January

Join us for the Gransden Muddy Fun Run on Sunday 25th January – fancy dress encouraged!

Choose from a 3km muddy fun run or the self-navigated Mystery Marathon. The marathon can be run solo, as a relay, or as part of the route (half marathon, 10km or 5km). Marathon runners can start any time from 6am. Enter via the Get Tickets link and please email clarethurgood@hotmail.com to let us know which marathon option you’re doing.

There will be prizes for 1st–3rd place (KS1 & KS2), muddiest runner, and best fancy dress. There are separate start times for KS2 and KS1, but families are welcome to run together — just let us know at registration.

There is no chip timing this year, but everyone must register on the morning so we know who’s on the course. Please drive carefully and be considerate of village neighbours.

3km Muddy Run timings:

Registration: 9.30am

Villagers’ race: 10.00am

KS2 warm-up & briefing: 10.15–10.25am

KS2 race start: 10.30am (medals 10.45–11.00am)

KS1 warm-up & briefing: 11.00–11.10am

KS1 race start: 11.15am (medals 11.30am)

Barnabas Oley PTA is committed to raising funds to enhance the educational experience of every child at Barnabas Oley school. In recent years we have paid for repairs to the swimming pool and the trim trail, purchased new computers for the ICT suite, and supported the renovation of the school library. We also help cover the costs of school trips, visiting theatre companies, educational toys, school leavers' gifts and much more. We are proud of the difference we make to the school and are very grateful for the continued support of the parents and carers of the children at Barnabas Oley.
