About

Hi,

Please come along to the much awaited and highly anticipated East Linton Primary Parent Council Quiz Night! Taking place at East Linton Village Hall on the 4th February 2023 from 7.30pm (doors open) - 11pm (Quiz will run from around 8-10pm). Tickets are £30 per team of up to 6 people.

The quiz will be hosted by the very wonderful and our very own local legend Gill Robertson, there will be a cashless bar available on the night, along with some additional treats and competitions to keep us all entertained!

And why? We are fundraising to support our lovely school and to provide our children with the best experience and opportunities we can. With ever stretching budgets, our school really does need our help. The Parent Council budget goes towards paying for a wide range of things from books, resources, playground upgrades to trip contributions and parties. Our most recent swish event raised £774 and paid for the School Christmas parties and more!

All profits from the event will go directly to the Parent Council fund as a donation.

Please tell your friends, share this link and come and enjoy a fun night of entertainment in our lovely hall and help raise some funds for a fantastic local cause.

We look forward to seeing you there!

Please do let us know directly (stephlwilliamson@gmail.com or Rachel.russell87@hotmail.co.uk) should you have any questions concerning this event :-)

Many Thanks,

Steph and Rachel (East Linton Primary Parent Council Members)

Supporting

East Linton Primary Parent Council

East Linton Parent Council is made up of a small group of parents including representatives from each year group. We meet every 6 weeks to discuss important matters relating to school progress and to be the voice of the parents and carers. In addition the parent council are responsible for fundraising so that we can make sure the pupils are getting access to everything they need such as additional workshops, materials, trips, playground equipment etc. For example the Parent Council help pay for Christmas parties, playground renovations, Jubilee gifts, new books and lots more. The support of the school parents and carers really helps and we are very grateful for any help given.
