About

We are delighted to announce that our Country Dog Show will be returning to our Church Knowle centre in Dorset on Sunday 10th August!

Join us for a fantastic day out for your dogs and all the family, to help us raise vital funds for rescue animals in need.

In addition to our Dog Show, there will be a host of other entertainment, including have-a-go-agility, Rescue Dog Reunion, dog parkour, a performance by the award-winning Rock Choir, welly wanging, axe throwing, archery and lots, lots more. There will also be artisan stalls to browse and hot food and refreshments available.

Gates will open at 11am and the Dog Show will begin from 12pm.

Entry is £6 for adults and £2.50 for children under 12, with the Dog Show classes priced at £3 per class*.

Supporting

Margaret Green Animal Rescue

Margaret Green Animal Rescue has been rescuing and rehoming animals in need since 1965. With 2 centres in Dorset and 1 in Devon, we are here to take in animals that become homeless due to a change in circumstance, or that have been mistreated, neglected or abandoned. Regardless of their circumstance, each animal will find a warm bed, a kind team and all the love and respect they deserve awaiting them at Margaret Green Animal Rescue. We pride ourselves on the standard of care each rescue pet receives. As well as veterinary care, our animals are prepared and rehabilitated ready for their forever home. Where appropriate, our animals are vaccinated, microchipped, treated against worms and fleas and neutered before going to their new home. Finding forever homes is at the very heart of what we do and there is no better feeling than knowing we have found the perfect match. Our rehoming process is designed specifically to help potential owners adopt a pet that fits in perfectly with their lives and loved ones.
