An amateur string orchestra, led by professionals, promoting classical music for strings in schools and public concerts throughout London. Founded in 1961, the Nonesuch Orchestra offers daytime - and some evening - music-making for experienced players of all ages, giving concerts in schools and local festivals to introduce children to a live orchestra, work with young musicians and provide performance opportunities for post-graduate students.

The Nonesuch Orchestra is looking forward to the start of our new season, which begins with a Play Day on Tchaikovsky's Souvenir de Florence on Thursday 18th September, 9.30am (for 10am start) to 4.30pm at St Martin's Church, Mortimer Road, NW10 5SN.
