About

This is the 21st consecutive year of this iconic event - now firmly established in the annual Marlow calendar. Last year the event raised over £95,000 for around 50 good causes - mainly smaller local charities. Help us this year to raise an even bigger sum! How?

- If you are an entrant you are welcome to make an additional donation - small or large!

- If you are not an entrant - you can still help. simply make a donation - small or large!

- And if you are an entrant  - as an individual or in a team - and can't think of a charity to support why not invite others to raise money for the event great causes. Simply circulate the link to this page to other team members, friends, colleagues and family members. 

So what will happen to your donations (and any gift aid added to it)? The money will initially go into the Rotary Charity account - and after the event we will add up what has been collected. All the event costs will have been covered by the event entry charges - so 100% of your donation will be distributed in the following way:

- 30% will be shared by the 2025 lead charities - SCANNAPPEAL (providing additional breast screening equipment) and the HEART OF BUCKS FOUNDATION (supporting their "Together Against Poverty" appeal).

- the remaining 70% will be distributed by the local Marlow Rotary Clubs to a large number of good causes and charities. Rotary has a strong relationship with many charities in the area - and we have a deep understanding as to how best to use the funds. Too many charities to mention in full, but recent beneficiaries include: Thames Valley Hospice, Bucks Young Carers, Marlow Age Concern, Bucks Mind, Marlow Opportunity Playgroup, Thames Valley Air Ambulance, Meals for Marlow, Wycombe Homeless Connection, Marlow United Charities, Thames Adventure Playground, Horizon Sports Club, Rivertime Boat Trust (Accessibility Initiative), - and many, many more.

Rotary Clubs of Marlow - Santa's Fun Run 2025 - Marlow Rotary Santa's Fun Run

For 21 years now the Rotary Clubs of Marlow have organised the Marlow Santa's Fun Run. The event is firmly established as perhaps the biggest single annual charity fundraiser in the area (last year the event raised over £95,000 for around 50 good causes) and we are limited to just 3000 entry spaces (last year we sold out 10 days ahead of the event).

Money raised comes from entries, sponsor donations and funds raised by teams for their own favourite charity (and we share £15,000 with charities nominated by entrants - subject to our "Charity Pool" scheme rules).

The more we raise the better - feel free to add a little extra!
