Did you know that Culbokie community has a defibrillator in the old phone box? Located in the centre of the village, it is there to be used in an emergency, when every minute counts. It is in close proximity to the football field, the pub, the hall, the green and the church and is accessible to all.
It has to be regularly maintained and community organisations have been doing this for many years. Findon Hall together contributions from the Community Council and Community Trust has taken responsibility for this vital, life saving piece of equipment. As funding streams shrink, we would be grateful if the local community could help us with the costs of the equipment we need to buy to ensure that the defibrillator is in good working order.
