Jet Age Museum is the home of the Gloucestershire Aviation Collection, at Meteor Business Park, Cheltenham Road East, Gloucester, GL2 9QL. The Museum is an all-volunteers enterprise which is dedicated to promoting and preserving Gloucestershire’s contribution to world aviation, in particular the development of jet powered flight for the inspiration and enjoyment of the public. The Museum welcomes visitors of all ages who are interested in aviation in general or the specifics of Gloucestershire's local aviation history. Visitors can enjoy the on-site Café and browse the museum shop at their leisure. There is no entry fee to the museum – we rely very much on the generous donations from the public. The Museum has many aircraft exhibits for visitors to experience, including open cockpits in which visitors can learn first-hand what it is like to sit at the controls of a jet aircraft. Our popularity now demands that we enhance the overall experience for our visitors by creating more space in which to restore, conserve and display the many exhibits available to us; hence our need now to raise money to complete our Phase 2 Project!
