The aim of Gunnislake Community Matters (“GCM”) is to devise and develop an innovative plan with a view to enhancing the village environment, improving the quality of life and regenerating economic activity. We will seek to promote and exploit Gunnislake's exceptional geographical position, as the first village in Cornwall and as a community set in the heart of an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, in a World Heritage Site and overlooking the most spectacular part of the lovely Tamar Valley. We will also seek to fully exploit Gunnislake's unique industrial, cultural and historical heritage. The activities of GCM will be in partnership with all sections of the community and community interest Groups as appropriate.
