We aim to raise £5,000 to transform five bedrooms in one of our refuges, creating a more healing space for mothers and children fleeing abuse.
Right now, these shared bedrooms are uninviting, lack storage, and don’t optimise space. Many survivors associate home with fear and trauma - we want their new spaces to feel safe, calm, and stress-free.
With guidance from a top interior designer, we’ll reconfigure layouts, add smart storage, update flooring and furniture, and introduce soothing colours and textures. These trauma-informed spaces will foster security, relaxation, and recovery, complementing our wider support services.
