About

Carol was a loving, caring and compassionate mother, wife, sister and so much more. She dedicated her life to her love of helping people through nursing for 45 years, specialising in neonatal care for most of that. She really was one of a kind, an absolute bright light in everyone’s life. Sadly, Carol lost her short but brutal battle with cancer in June 2023. In her memory we are hoping to raise money towards the charity that helps support the ward she worked on at Leicesters royal infirmary neonatal unit. Any donation small or large is greatly appreciated, we know Carol would be super thankful for all contributions to this wonderful charity.

ADAPT Prembabies Supports parents and families of premature and poorly babies needing specialist neonatal care in Leicester. There is no disputing the fact that the babies get the best clinical care but for the parents its a different story not knowing from day to day sometimes hour to hour whether their baby will survive, this is where the ADAPT support steps in to help them through the rollercoaster journey at one of the most emotional and traumatic times of their lives.
