About

Buckinghamshire Disability Service BuDS isn't publicly funded so we rely on donations and grants. There's no waste, big salaries or fat cats at BuDS - your donation works hard to support disabled people in Buckinghamshire and beyond. Thank you!

Buckinghamshire Disability Service (BuDS) is Buckinghamshire’s leading disability charity and the county’s only independent pan-disability organisation. Our visionary aim is to abolish disability by building a world which is Fair4All, free of the barriers which disable people. To achieve this, we have built a working community of over 180 local disabled volunteers who work together, supported by staff, to achieve our goals. Our 16 projects both support and empower disabled individuals and work to permanently remove the barriers facing disabled people.

Supporting

Buckinghamshire Disability Service from Buckinghamshire Disability Service (BuDS)

Buckinghamshire Disability Service (BuDS) is a successful, dynamic and influential disability charity made up of volunteers, mostly disabled people themselves. Our projects help disabled people participate in society, improve their skills, find work, access shops and public places, find accessible transport, enjoy events, deal with hate crime, and much more. We do this by campaigning, influencing and working in partnership with councils, companies and organisations. We operate on a small budget without any public funding, so every pound given to us will work very hard.
