The Blue Idol Quaker Meeting House, where Quakers still worship, was one of the first established after the Act of Toleration in 1689. From this Meeting, William Penn sailed to found Pennsylvania, and to lay one of the foundation stones of the Constitution of the USA.
We have a Meeting for Worship every Sunday at 10:30 am for 1 hour followed by tea, coffee and cake. All are welcome. We have a children's meeting on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of each month.
We host an Open Day every Friday 10am - 4pm from March-November. Our Open Days are a chance to explore our building and learn more about William Penn and modern Quakerism. Our garden is always open and is a wonderful place for peaceful contemplation.
