Asha Trust works in area of Sri Lanka just outside Colombo called Athidya where approximately 18,000 people reside many in severe deprivation. The housing and other facilities are basic. Finding work is a struggle and many people earn less then £2 a day. These communities face multiple challenges, and our community workers support them to develop solutions, restoring hope and building ladders out of poverty.
