At Pegasus RDA, we believe in the transformative power of equine therapy, which is why we are dedicated to providing life-enhancing activities for individuals in our community. However, we rely entirely on the generosity of our supporters, as we receive no external funding. Your donations play a crucial role in helping us continue our mission.
Our primary expense is the care of our beloved ponies, Tyson and Bobby, which costs approximately £16,000 each year. These ponies are not just animals; they are a vital part of our programme, bringing joy and healing to our participants. In addition to pony care, we incur significant costs for renting the facilities at the North Cheshire Equestrian Centre, where we hold our sessions every Sunday morning, and for hiring additional ponies to enrich our program. These expenses total an additional £7,500 annually.
We also need to cover our core operating costs, which amount to £3,000 each year. This includes essential expenses such as insurance, specialised lesson equipment, website and communication charges, volunteer training, and more.
Every donation we recieve goes directly into the critical areas outlined above, as we operate on a completely voluntary basis—there are no paid staff, and 100% of contributions are used to sustain our vital work.
