We are incredibly fortunate to own our own horse, Bobby, as well as having two others, Tyson and Hector, on a long-term loan. Tyson, Bobby and Hector take part in our disabled riding sessions each week. To fund their upkeep, we rely entirely on grants, donations and the generosity of our supporters: owning horses does not come cheap!
We need to raise funds to pay for livery costs, services, utilities, feed, bedding, health care and insurance costs. We also need a contingency budget for any unforeseen expenses.
Your donation could provide the following:
- A donation of £10 will pay for a bale of bedding.
- A donation of £25 will pay for a bag of horse feed.
- A donation of £35 will pay for the farrier to trim a horses hooves (which needs to be done every 7/8 weeks!).
- A donation of £50 will pay for a horse's annual flu vaccination.
Every year, we need to raise around £30,000 to cover our horses' essential costs and keep using them in our sessions. Please support us by donating as much as you can, and add Gift Aid to your donation wherever eligible.
