We are incredibly fortunate to own our own horse, Ruby, and we have also taken another, Tyson, on a long-term loan. Ruby and Tyson take part in our disabled riding sessions each week. To fund their upkeep, we rely entirely on grants, donations and the generosity of our supporters: owning horses does not come cheap!
We need to raise funds to pay for services, utilities, feed, bedding, health care and insurance costs. We also need a contingency budget for any unforeseen costs.
Your donation could provide the following:
- A donation of £10 will pay for bedding materials for a week.
- A donation of £25 will pay for a bag of horse feed.
- A donation of £40 will pay for a horse's annual flu vaccination.
- A donation of £55 will pay for the farrier to replace a set of horse shoes (which needs to be done every 7/8 weeks!).
Every year, we need to raise around £16,500 to cover Ruby and Tyson's essential costs and keep using them in our sessions. Please support us by donating as much as you can, and add Gift Aid to your donation wherever eligible.
