About

The Hafod Family of Churches, and St. Thomas' in Penycae in particular have been supporting our communities for over 100 years. Recent times have been tough for everyone, and we have supported our communities through them, offering help and support, visiting, and even warm meals. The impact of COVID-19 on our usual sources of fundraising has been significant, so we are reaching out to you, our community, to help support us as you would have done at our fairs, film nights, fashion shows and other fundraisers that we hold throughout the year.

Like all charities, our donations have suffered as a result of the impact of COVID-19, and we understand that for a lot of people their income has been drastically affected. We completely understand. Nothing should be more important that your own food, warmth and shelter. 

However, like most charities, we still have bills to pay. We are therefore reaching out to our community for whatever they can give, from as little as £5 upwards. It will all help us keep our doors open, and our lights on.
