The Médoc region stretches from the city of Bordeaux, following the gravel and clay soils of the west bank of the Gironde River all the way to the coast, some 100 miles further north. It encompasses the superior sub-region of Haut- Médoc to the south. Within that sub-region, there are further communal or village appellations, namely Listrac and Moulis, and the four great names of St. Estèphe, Pauillac, St Julien and Margaux.

A consistently fine estate which stands on the gravelly Médoc plane looking out over the Gironde. The vineyard is predominantly planted with Cabernet Sauvignon 65% and Merlot 30%, combining to give typically vigorous blackcurrant, plum and spice scented wine with firm yet supple tannins.

Garry attended Leek School of Art, where he benefitted from a classical art training by Arthur Littlewood RA. Emphasis was placed upon life drawing, painting and the history of art. He then attended Stockport College of Art and graduated in Visual Communication in 1969. Garry also have spent long periods working in the US and have lived and worked in the UK, Japan, South East Asia, China and Italy. Throughout his travels he continued to paint. Garys work is held in private collections in: USA, UK, Hong Kong, China, Japan, Italy, and Australia.
