ADAPT Prembabies

ADAPT Prembabies Supports parents and families of premature and poorly babies needing specialist neonatal care in Leicester. There is no disputing the fact that the babies get the best clinical care but for the parents its a different story not knowing from day to day sometimes hour to hour whether their baby will survive, this is where the ADAPT support steps in to help them through the rollercoaster journey at one of the most emotional and traumatic times of their lives.  

Complete Baby Pack

The baby packs are given to every family who stay on the Neonatal Units at Leicester Royal Infirmary and Leicester General Hospital. 

Having a premature or poorly baby can happen to anyone and because everything occurs so quickly and usually unexpectedly, it can leave you feeling upset, confused, scared and very vulnerable. Our baby packs take one load of the parents' minds, providing a notebook and pen for jotting down important information or feelings, premature nappies, cotton wool, information leaflets and a special teddy.

Nappies

A pack of premature nappies are given to every family who stay on the Neonatal Units at Leicester Royal Infirmary and Leicester General Hospital.

Having a premature or poorly baby can happen to anyone and because everything occurs so quickly and usually unexpectedly, it can leave you feeling upset, confused, scared and very vulnerable. Finding the right size nappies doesn't have to be a worry as we provide these to each family in our baby packs.

Teddy Bear

A special Adapt Teddy Bear is given to every family who stay on the Neonatal Units at Leicester Royal Infirmary and Leicester General Hospital.

Having a premature or poorly baby can happen to anyone and because everything occurs so quickly and usually unexpectedly, it can leave you feeling upset, confused, scared and very vulnerable. The Adapt Teddy Bear offers comfort to the parents as well as being suitable to place in the incubator with the poorly baby.
