The Wrexham Miners Project is dedicated to preserving the proud history and heritage of Wrexham’s mining community while creating a vibrant hub for the future. Rooted in the legacy of the Wrexham Miners’ Institute, we celebrate the stories, struggles, and achievements of generations of local miners and their families.

Our mission is to keep this heritage alive through community projects, education, exhibitions, and events that connect past and present. By doing so, we aim to inspire pride in our history, strengthen community spirit, and ensure the voices of Wrexham’s miners are never forgotten.
