The Mayflower PTFA is committed to enhancing the educational experience of all students at Mayflower High School. During 2026 and 2027, we are raising funds to support several key projects across the school, ensuring students have access to the resources and opportunities they need to thrive.
The main beneficiary of this year's Artisan Market Raffle will be the school's Health and Social Care Department, which is delivering the exciting new GCSE in Health and Social Care.
To provide students with the best possible learning experience, the department urgently requires a dedicated trolley of laptops and charging facilities, at an estimated cost of £5,000. Currently, students rely on the availability of shared computer rooms for around three months of the academic year. When these rooms are unavailable, lessons often need to be moved, adapted, or rearranged, creating disruption and limiting valuable learning opportunities.
Health and Social Care students regularly undertake research into local communities, health needs, and care providers. Access to dedicated laptops would enable them to conduct meaningful research, develop essential digital skills, and engage more effectively with course content. Having reliable technology available in every lesson would significantly enhance both the delivery of the course and student outcomes.
By purchasing a raffle ticket, you will be helping us provide these essential resources and support the success of current and future Mayflower students.
Thank you for your support and good luck in the raffle!
Every ticket purchased brings us one step closer to achieving our goal. 🎟️💙
