Every raffle entry helps support local people experiencing crisis across Huddersfield and the surrounding areas.


In June 2026, The Welcome Centre:


Supported 1,011 people, including 359 children

Provided 1,040 emergency food packs

Distributed enough food for 28,121 meals

Delivered 1,241 Advice, Guidance and Support sessions


While emergency food is essential, it's only the first step. The Welcome Centre also provides an in-house Advice, Guidance and Support Service, helping people address the challenges that led them to need food support in the first place. By offering practical advice and ongoing support, we help people move towards a future free from food poverty.


Every raffle ticket purchased helps make this life-changing work possible.

By entering, you're not only giving yourself the chance to win a wonderful prize—you'll also be helping local people access food, practical support, expert advice and hope when they need it most.

The Welcome Centre is the largest independent food bank in the UK. We help local families and individuals in crisis with food, toiletries, and other essential items. But we also provide advice, guidance, and support to address underlying issues. We want to improve the quality of life of those experiencing extreme disadvantage in our community by providing practical support.
