About

The Cater Museum is free to visit and we're proud of that. Keeping our doors open to everyone matters to us. Our day-to-day running costs are covered by rent from the two shops that form part of our building, but beyond that we have no other regular income. That's where you come in. By becoming a Friend, you become part of a community that actively helps the museum to thrive; enabling us to grow our collection, put on events, refresh our displays, and make sure there's something worth discovering here for generations to come.
