Story

After being diagnosed 5years ago with Ulcerative Colitis, Lynda is now at a stage in her journey where she’d like to raise some money.

We saw ‘Get Your Belly Out’ fundraising page and thought it was a brilliant opportunity to give back.

If it wasn’t for the amazing Surgeons, Stoma Nurses and Nurses, this could be a very different story.

In December 2023 Lynda underwent her first surgery for a loop ileostomy with a second surgery due in March 2024. It’s been a long, tough journey and it’s still not over yet. So, we want to raise awareness for all those who suffer from the debilitating diseases that are Ulcerative Colitis and Crohn’s.
