🏃‍♀️ Get Caked 2026 – Team Hinge Takes on the Mud!

We’re doing something a little messy this year…

Jo, Megan, Lydia and Michaela are taking part in Get Caked 2026 – a 5-mile fun mud assault course through the stunning grounds of Sledmere House!

That’s right — we’ll be climbing, crawling, slipping, sliding and splashing our way through obstacles, mud pits and plenty of surprises along the route. It’s going to be tough, it’s going to be muddy… and it’s all for a fantastic cause 💛


💛 Why We’re Taking On the Challenge

We’re getting muddy to raise vital funds for The Hinge and the work we do in our community.

Every donation will help us continue to:

  • Provide safe and positive after-school and holiday activities for children
  • Run inclusive social groups for adults
  • Keep our centre open as a warm, welcoming space for everyone

GetCaked 2026! - The Hinge Centre

GET CAKED IS THE MUDDIEST CHALLENGE IN EAST YORKSHIRE!

We are taking part for the second year running in Get Caked. The fundraiser involves 5 miles of muddy wet fun in the beautiful Yorkshire Countryside of Sledmere House, participants will be climbing over logs, crawling through muddy trenches, jumping through tyres and taking on the Sledmere Slide all in aid of charity. 

The date for the event is Sunday 19th April 2026, with time slots 10am,11am and 12noon.
