They are taking fundraising to new heights – quite literally!

On Sunday 20th September, Sally and Laura will be stepping onto the wing of a plane for an unforgettable wing walk to raise money for The Core@FAW – an exciting new project that will make a lasting difference to the lives of the young people at Five Acre Wood School.

The Core@FAW will be a specialist gym, housed in two converted shipping containers in partnership with Core The Gym, Maidstone. Designed specifically for pupils with profound, severe and complex learning difficulties, this innovative space will provide bespoke land-based fitness sessions that promote physical health, confidence and emotional wellbeing in an accessible and supportive environment.

More than just a gym, The Core@FAW will open up opportunities for pupils to develop important life and work skills through fitness-based work experience, helping to build independence, confidence and, for some, a pathway towards future employment as well as supporting our wider community.

By supporting Sally and Laura's incredible challenge, you will be helping us create a unique facility that empowers our pupils to reach their full potential. Every donation, no matter the size, will bring us one step closer to making The Core@FAW a reality.
