Fundraiser - Stair Climb to Everest

Story

Fire Fighters from White Watch Basingstoke will be climbing their drill tower for 24 hours to the equivalent of Mount Everest, which is over 8840 metres high! We will doing this in our full fire fighting PPE including fire boots, helmets and breathing apparatus, which is over 30 kgs of extra weight! When we get to within 1000 metres of the summit we will be going under air the same as being on the mountain. we are raising money for the fire fighters charity and Kidney Cancer UK in memory of Watch Manager Aaron Jepp who was taken to soon.
