Story

Spire Bushey Hospital are supporting Home Start Watford & Three Rivers this year as part of the annual Spire Charity Challenge.

Home-Start volunteers work alongside families in the 3 districts of Watford, Three Rivers and Hertsmere to give compassionate and confidential support and make sure the earliest years count, so that no child’s future is limited.

Home-Start Watford and Three Rivers

Home-Start is a local charity and voluntary organisation based in Watford for the last twenty years. We are part of a national charity and across the country; there are over 250 local Home-Starts.Here at Home-Start we are committed to promoting the welfare of children under the age of five and their siblings. Trained volunteers visit families weekly for two to three hours in their homes. They offer support, friendship and guidance when families need it the most. These weekly visits make a huge difference to a family who maybe isolated, coping with family breakdown or struggling with their own health needs.
