Fundraiser - Fundraising Sleep Out

Story

On Saturday 6th December 2025 the Executive Director of LEEDO and the Chair of Friends of Street Children Bangladesh slept out at the ferry terminal in Dhaka to raise funds for the work of LEEDO and highlight the position of children working and sleeping at the terminal. Friends of Street Children Bangladesh

Friends of Street Children Bangladesh is a small charity run entirely by volunteers. We support work with street children. Our main partner is LEEDO, based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. We raise funds to support their work, for example we organise fundraising meals and encourage online donations. LEEDO undertake outreach and education on the streets and run a transitional shelter to assess future options for the children including rehabilitation with their families. LEEDO have a Peace Home for children who have no family to care for them.
