Support Our Sassy Walkers and Help Fight Batten Disease

On 27th September 2025, our amazing team of 50 Sassy Walkers will take on an 18-mile circular walk through the stunning New Forest — all to raise vital awareness and funds for children living with Batten Disease.

This will be our second Sassy Walk, starting and finishing at the Elm Tree Pub in Ringwood, where we’ll celebrate with a BBQ, raffle, and live music — a joyful end to a meaningful day.

The Sassy Walk was inspired by Annabelle, a courageous young girl who, along with her younger brother, was diagnosed with Batten Disease. Annabelle sadly passed away in January 2024, but her dream of raising awareness and helping others lives on through this event and the charity she named: Batten Fighters Forever (BFF).

Batten Fighters Forever (BFF) is focussed on raising awareness of Batten Disease and the support needs of children and families with Batten Disease. BFF will provide grants to directly assist children and families as well as other charities and organisations providing support.
